Miss Janki Chokshi
We received around two dozen entries for the Rabbit Project. The selection committee was formed and quickly reviewed every entry and was impressed by every submission. We felt so fortunate to have an amazing pool of artists in our community and grateful that many were willing to work with us to make this special 45th Anniversary friendship gift for our sister city, Toyokawa. After two very detailed review sessions and discussions, our final selection was a concept that we were able to incorporate several meaningful and momentous images including recognizable landmarks from both Bay Area (the Golden Gate bridge) and Toyokawa (the Inari Temple). The rabbit statue will also be dotted with several California state flowers, the Golden Poppies! We are very pleased to announce we have awarded this project to Miss Janki Chokshi.
We will display the following poster at the upcoming Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival in 24"x36" size. Be sure to look for it in the Quinlan Community Center. The festival is held on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30th, 2023. Please go to our CuperitnoCBF.org website for programs and activities information.
